I started DJing in August of 2001. My first event was a Midnight to 2 AM after cast party. Packing up after the event, I didn’t think it was for me and vowed I wouldn’t do it again.
Almost 25 years later, I’m glad I stuck with it. I have had the honor of being a part of 100’s of weddings and countless other types of events. I can’t tell you how great it feels at the end of the night while breaking down my equipment seeing all the happy faces and getting compliments of how great a time someone had or they loved the music played.
One of the coolest things for me being in this industry close to a quarter of a century, is performing at an event and having someone come up to me telling me that I dj’d their wedding and how much fun they had. It really is a full circle moment.
